M.Phil. and Ph.D. Under these courses are conducted in sociology. P.G. courses in sociology include areas like Women Studies, Political Sociology, Rural Sociology. Apart from it research facilities are provided to the scholars.

Semester IV Social Demography, Sociology of Religion, Industry and Society in India, Gender and Society, Sociology of Education, Ethnicity Pluralism and Nation, Dissertation.
Four papers are to be selected. Out of these Dissertation will be offered by only those students who have got more then 60% marks in the first two semesters.
